Neweiba
is another popular village one hour north of
Dahab, also on the Aqaba coast. It was built
around the port, a crossing point to Aqaba
on the Arabian Peninsula. There
are several
camps in which you can rent
huts as well as international
hotel chains offering all the
amenities of first class accommodation.
From
here you can
easily explore the
Colored Canyons. These canyons
are steep and striated
with wondrous colors ranging from
red to yellow to gray. The trek can be made
by camel or by car. |
